#1 Flying Branch
In order to join the Air Force in the flying branch, you must have at least completed graduation with minimum 60%. You ,must also have passed the 10+2 with maths and physics subjects.
Physical requirements:
  • Minimum height:162.5cm
  • Length of leg- (minimum):99cm, (maximum):120cm
  • Length of thighs-(maximum)64cm
  • Eyesight- 6/6, 6/9Age limit:The candidate has to be 19-23 years of age on 1 July 2014 (time the course starts). 
  •  Technical Branch In this branch, the candidates are selected on basis of the degree course they completed. Candidates are selected to the Aeronautical, Electronics and Mechanical engineering sections. So, only candidates who have completed either Aeronautical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering are eligible for the Technical Branch. The student must have passed a 4 year B.E/B Tech program in any of the above fields from a recognized university.
    Age Limit
    The candidate has to be between 18-28 years of age on January 1, 2014.
    Ground duty Branch
    In this branch, the candidates are selected to the account, logistics and education sections. For admission in this branch, the candidate must hold a degree with at least 50%.
